Originally from North Bay, Anne Brûlé studied the principles of creativity through theatre at the Department of Arts d’expression at Laurentian University in Sudbury. As a young girl Anne was fascinated by balloons and her imagination was captured by the designs her cousin made at her store Teddy Bears to Go. She loves creating interesting designs and exploring what balloons can do. She challenged herself to try Organic Balloon décor in 2019 and created displays for the Celfie Museum. She completed a ceinture fléchée weaved with balloons and exhibited during the Francophone Art Exposition at the WKP Kennedy Gallery in February 2020. Balloon sculpting has led to the creation of photo stations, balloon clothing, and large custom pieces such as a gumball machine centrepiece. Through her company AB Créations she offers a number of creative services including singing telegrams, traditional face painting and balloons as well as clowning magic.
She is motivated by the joy people express when they see one of her balloon creations, which led to the name Joyfilled Balloons for her line of gifts inserted in balloons. This year she is offering local families the option of booking a trip for their elf on the shelf. Your elf on the shelf will have the opportunity to explore on their way home to you and bring back souvenirs and gifts for the children. Elves will be lucky to ride inside a Joyfilled Balloon for a unique experience.
